About the role
As the Store Signage and Equipment Lead you will be responsible for the planning, developing and implementing the store signage and equipment in stores.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Planning, developing and overseeing the implementation for new stores, renovated stores and category relays
- Raising and reconciling purchase orders for all the above merchandising activities
- Completing plans, costs, schedules and implementation of in-store permanent signage, both internal and external
- Developing and growing partnership with appropriate The Good Guys suppliers, internal and external stakeholders
- Working with appropriate suppliers and the Store Development team to negotiate and review rates and charges for all stores
- Communicate within the department the implementation timelines of merchandising activities
- Monitor progress of merchandising activities to ensure completion in the agreed timeframe
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail store merchandising
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail project management or signage/POS implementation
- Strong knowledge and understanding of POS production and its application in the store environment
- Excellent time management and administration skills
- Strong communication skills with a particular ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail
- High level of numeracy skills including accounts reconciliations and calculations
- Advanced skills in using MS Office & Adobe Acrobat
