About the role
Partner with business leaders to maximise the capability and performance of their teams in support of business objectives.
- Manage a wide range of employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, and performance management, in keeping with legal frameworks.
- Build effective working relationships with assigned business areas to coach and support the development of business objectives.
- Provide timely and practical guidance and coaching to leaders to enable sound commercial outcomes aligned with company vision, values, and strategy.
- Provide guidance and support with the management of personal injuries.
- Contribute to key HR activities including engagement, compliance, organisational design, on-boarding, talent, remuneration and succession planning.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Safety, Risk and Fraud and Forensics teams.
- Deliver reporting and insight of key HR performance metrics and initiatives.
- Escalate identified gaps and/or process improvements to strengthen compliance controls, maximise efficiencies and enhance the employee experience.
- Contribute to key HR projects and improvement initiatives.
Preferred experience/qualifications
- 2-5 years in a generalist HR Business Partnering role
- Extensive experience in managing employee relations matters
- Retail experience is highly preferred but not essential
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a high volume and fast-paced environment
- Proactive, solutions focussed and flexible approach
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business Management or similar
