The Role
As a Commercial Sales Support Team Member you will play a critical role in managing customer orders, responding to inquiries and reaching out to customers and suppliers both via phone and email to meet our shared objectives and achieve great outcomes for our commercial customers. You will be able to prioritise customer's needs to make well-informed decisions to assist in the smooth timely processing of sales and delivery of products helping The Good Guys Commercial maintain our high standards of customer satisfaction and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensure efficient delivery of customer orders and timely resolution of issues.
- Respond promptly to customer emails and phone requests.
- Reaching out to customers and suppliers via phone & email
- Manage backorders and follow up on invoices regularly.
- Process sales and quotes to facilitate the efficient delivery of products.
- Identify and escalate defects to trigger corrections and mitigate reputational and financial risks.
- Follow established processes for issue escalation and provide input for business investigations as needed.
- Collaborate with stores and other teams to resolve purchase-related issues.
Please note, this role operates on a roster between Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5pm
About You
You are a driven and motivated Sales Support extraordinaire who will relish the opportunity to be involved in a fast-paced team environment, you will also have:
- Previous Call Centre experience, desired not essential
- Excellent phone manner, communication skills and computer literate
- AWS and Microsoft Dynamic experience, desired not essential
- Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Someone who is punctual and reliable
- Previous contact centre and Zendesk experience (ideal, but not essential)
