About the role
As the Junior Financial Accountant, your role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely financial reporting to our internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset register and reporting
- Work closely with stores, store development, IT, maintenance team to commission assets in a timely manner
- Prepare accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Perform monthly P&L reviews
- Identify and contribute to improvements to finance processes, as required
- Contribute to and undertake business related projects and other ad hoc tasks, when required
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-2 years’ experience in an accounting or similar related role
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related finance role
- Retail experience is preferred, not essential
- D365 Dynamics or other large accounting systems
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
